WHAT?!?! Bethany Harms started a blog? Why yes, she has.
Welcome to the Start Wearing Purple blog. This is where yours truly will post whatever she feels like. There are two questions you are probably asking yourself right now. 1) What will Bethany be posting on her blog, and 2) Where in the world did she find a name like that for her blog?

To answer your first question, hypothetical reader, what won't I be posting on my blog. I wanted to start a blog so I have a place to show off my many ramblings, interesting finding, and what I've been up to. I will post a plethora of recipes, crafts, movie reviews, CD reviews, and just about everything else. I'm interested in lotso things, so why not reflect that in my blog? I am also being somewhat lazy by creating this blog. Do you know how confusing it is to tell all of your family members one by one what you are up to? Now I can just have everyone read my blog. :)

The final question I will answer is one about my blog name. Why would I name my blog Start Wearing Purple? Why not? One of my favorite songs is Start Wearing Purple by Gogol Bordello. The first line in this song is "Start wearing purple, wearing purple. Start wearing purple for me now. All your sanity and wits, they will all vanish, I promise..." As many of my friends and family know, 76.3% of my clothing is purple. I love wearing purple, and promise of "loosing your wits" is a fun way to live.
